In 2018, I discovered the work of analog photographer Joe Greer (@ioegreer), who beautifully captures everyday life with warm, soft light. His photographs felt incredibly authentic, and I became fascinated with how he created such compelling images.
Inspired, I bought my first analog camera—a Canon A1 (1980 model)—along with the necessary chemicals to develop film at home. The learning process was challenging, filled with frustrating failures and wasted film, but I couldn’t stop experimenting. After years of trial and error, I finally developed my own style.
When I transitioned into full-time freelancing with Oak Design, focusing on branding and web design, I wondered if my love for photography could also become a business. As much as I admired analog photography, the high cost of film and the unpredictability of results made it difficult to scale.
So, I made the switch to digital photography. 📷 While I’m still refining my style, I’ve started working with businesses, capturing authentic moments that highlight both their brand and the people behind it. My focus is on creating images that feel natural, transparent, and true to life.
